Dr. Gerard A. Begley, D.M.D.
Dr. Gerard Begley is a nationally recognized oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 25 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. As Director of Resident Education at Morristown Medical Center, he has helped thousands of patients regain function and comfort through a wide range of advanced procedures — from wisdom teeth removal to cleft palate repair. His calm, informative approach helps patients feel supported and confident in their care.
Dr. Begley is especially known for his expertise in full-arch implant solutions. While many practitioners offer All-on-Four implants, Dr. Begley is one of the few surgeons in New Jersey who also places zygomatic implants — an advanced option for patients with significant bone loss. His ability to tailor surgical plans for even the most complex cases makes him a go-to specialist for both patients and referring doctors.
He is a proud board examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, helping uphold the highest standards in surgical excellence nationwide. A former president of the New Jersey Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Begley also serves as an assistant visiting professor at Temple University Health Sciences Center and is a respected voice in continuing education through Spear Study Club and AAOMS.
Dr. Begley completed his dental training at the University of Pennsylvania and his residency at Temple University. Throughout his career, he’s earned the repeated recognition of his peers — including multiple New Jersey Monthly Top Dentist awards. Most importantly, he remains committed to one-on-one personal attention, ensuring that every patient fully understands their options and feels cared for at every step.

We offer multiple forms of sedation, including IV sedation, to ensure patient comfort during complex procedures. For those requiring general anesthesia, we provide care at Morristown Medical Center under Dr. Begley’s supervision.
